The price of a legal service is usually agreed with the client individually depending on the complexity and time duration of the required legal service, most often in the form of a so-called hourly fee (the client is always informed about exact summary of hours). In the event the remuneration for legal service is not determined by agreement of the parties, it will be determined in accordance with the Decree No. 177/1996 Coll. Attorney’s tariff. On 5th February 2016, the Czech Bar Association was entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to perform out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes for disputes arising between an attorney and a consumer from contracts for the provision of legal services (based on Act No. 634/1992 Coll.).
